Dentre os vários assuntos discutidos, o terceiro capítulo foi escrito por Renan Ventura, que discute alguns aspectos do processo de criação de áudio para jogos eletrônicos.

Since the beginning, Japanese cinema uses the traditional music (hôgaku) and the Western-style music (yôgaku) to write the musical score, creating a hybrid musical atmosphere. This research aims to identify and demonstrate this singularity of the Japanese musical practice in soundtracks, studying Joe Hisaishi (1950) as research object. Hisaishi follows the tradition of mixing those elements.
