Started in 2011 as a string quartet, this piece is based on compositional ideas and procedures used by the Hungarian composer Béla Bartók (1881-1945), famous for his musicological research in Eastern Europe and the use of symmetrical structures based on golden ratio. In 2015, the composition went through a review process and was rewritten to form a chamber orchestra.
